A Dinner Date For DHG
Why not host a dinner party around 21/3 (World Down Syndrome Day) and ask your guests to make a donation to DHG?
15% of funds raised will go to DSi for their Outreach Programme and 25% will be put aside to help DHG families (UK based) get to the 2018 World Down Syndrome Congress in Glasgow. The rest will be used for DHG's work in supporting families.
Dinner Date for DHG could become an annual event, so please send in any simple recipes that could be used by our members. We would also like photos of the dishes, chefs and diners to go in the next newsletter.

Geoff Smedley and some Rotary friends are considering staging a Trisome Challenge for people with Down's Syndrome, and need to gauge the level of interest.
The sporting challenge for pairs, one with and one without Down's Syndrome, will be at The Xcel Centre in Coventry, close to motorways and Birmingham Airport. The centre is fully accessible and has a cafe. There are a number of hotels close by. Either Saturday4th, 11th or 18th November are the provisional dates.
The entry fee will be £30.00 per pair with lots of trophies and prizes. See page 19 of DHG News 60 for more information and please contact Geoff if you are interested by 10th February at the latest by emailing:
