2013 - Interpreter Will Feature Your Responses
-------
Dear Interpreter Reader,
With 2014 fast approaching, the
Interpreter staff is excited to share plans for a renewed, redesigned, revamped
magazine. Here is what you can anticipate in 2014:
• More
articles on more pages in the print edition;
• A
responsively-designed digital edition that will be easy to read on your
favorite devices;
• Easily
accessed links to multimedia features; and
• More
resources
We’re also introducing new departments –
including one you will write!
"We asked … you said" will
feature your responses to a question we will send you a few weeks before
finishing each issue. We will use several responses in the magazine and more on
the website.
Here is the first question – and we do
want your response:
With what kinds of personal issues are
United Methodists dealing that might benefit from spiritual support?
Think about it – and then send your
response of 50-100 words to us at interpreter@umcom.org. Send it on or before
Friday, Dec. 13. Please include your name, local church, city and state – and a
telephone number in case we need to contact you. Please note that by sending a
response, you give us permission to use it in the magazine, on the website and
in social media related to Interpreter.
We look forward to hearing from you – and
to sharing the renewed Interpreter. Remember to send us your response to the
question by Friday, Dec. 13.
Giving thanks for you,
Kathy Noble, Editor
PS: Please be certain your church has
sent in its list of people to receive free subscriptions for 2014. If you need
