[Caregiving Coalition] Tomorrow, Wednesday, 19 February 2014: Caregiving in America Forum
Tomorrow, Washington Post Live will host a Caregiving in America Forum in Seattle, sponsored by AARP.  The forum will feature the ReACT coalition and ReACT’s Employer Resource Guide, which is designed to help employers understand and recognize the needs facing family caregivers.
You can view the full event live online on Wednesday, February 19, from 9 – 11am PST (12 – 2pm EST) at http://wapo.st/1ekhptW. The ReACT presentation will be at 10:15am PST (1:15pm EST).  
Presenters include travel writer Rick Steves, First Lady of Washington Trudi Inslee, and Seattle Mayor Ed Murray. Presenters from the ReACT coalition include Pfizer (Jack Watters, Vice President of Medical Affairs, Pfizer) and Drew Holzapfel, Managing Director at High Lantern Group. Alliance Board Member Donna Wagner will also be participating. Dr. Wagner is a leading academic researcher on caregiving issues who helped develop the ReACT and the Alliance’s research on Best Practices in Workplace Eldercare (2012).
