Again at this year’s Justice Conference (http://thejusticeconference.com) an organized forum for those working in the anti-trafficking field is planned for an opportunity to meet, inform, share resources, and support each other’s efforts to STAND for some of the most vulnerable people in the world today – victims of human trafficking and the perpetrators and traffickers themselves.
Categories of invitees: Churches; Christian NGOs; Christian Colleges/Educators
Focus of invitees: Those with practical experience working to release and care for the captives (anti-human trafficking work)
Date and Time: Friday, February 21, 4:00-6:00pm
Location: McCormick and Schmick, 400 South Hope Street
(right around the corner from the Biltmore Hotel, and within easy walking distance of the Justice Conference main site, the Orpheum Theater, Los Angeles, CA)
Meal: A great variety of gourmet heavy Hors D’oeuvres will be served at cocktail tables; tea and coffee provided.
Cost: Only $10.00 to participate in this opportunity to meet and network with individuals from across the country engaged with addressing human trafficking from a Biblical perspective.

4:00-4:15 – Check In:,
Ø Pick up name tags, payment as necessary, place organizational materials on resource table.
4:15-4:45 -- Introduction:
Ø White Paper Presentations: Wesleyan Holiness to present theological basis for the body of Christ’s engagement in anti-trafficking work.
Ø FAAST to discuss the importance of partnership, present new opportunity for University engagement in FAAST.
Ø Designated organizations talk about concrete models of how we can collaborate better through tools/websites.
4:45–5:45 – Speed Networking Activity:
Ø Each participant will be paired with one other participant and given three minutes to introduce themselves, give a brief capsule of their work in the anti-trafficking field, trade business cards, ask questions, etc. At the end of each three minute period, everyone moves on to the next person in line.
5:45 – Depart for The Justice Conference!
Ø Conversations can be continued en route to the Orpheum Theater: Head southwest on South Hope Street (.1 mile). Turn right onto S Grand Ave. Turn left onto W 5th Street. In 0.2 miles, turn right onto Broadway. In 0.5 miles, the Orpheum Theater will be on the left. (Total: 0.9 miles)
