Greetings RezDowntowners,It is great to be writing you on a beautiful Friday morning. It has been a busy week in Kansas City for Wendy and I. It was moving week for us! Wendy and I spent most of the day Wednesday and Thursday packing up and moving from our condo in the River Market to our new home in Union Hill. Wendy and I managed to find a place within walking distance to Crown Center, Martini Corner and one of my favorite coffee shops (The Filling Station). We are actually the same distance from the church as we were in the River Market! In fact, I’m writing from the front porch today. Thank you for your prayers and for your patience with me through the move!
I’m excited about this weekend in worship as we’ll be hosting our annual hot dog cookout and Glory Revival Concert on Saturday night and then on Sunday we’ll be celebrating Pastor Adam’s 50th birthday as he reflects over the first half of life and then looks ahead to the next 25 years! I hope you’ll join us in worship this weekend and I can’t wait to spend a great Saturday night in the city with you as well! Be sure to bring some friends along with you. Glory Revival will be fantastic, but then again, so will the hot dogs!
