National Alliance for Caregiving "Caregiver Credit Townhall, Caregiving Champions, & More" for Tuesday, 8 July 2014

Quick updates from the world of caregiving advocacy! 
1) Social Security Caregiver Credit Webinar - Tonight at 7:30 pm ET
Join the tele-town hall with Congresswoman Nita Lowey (NY) to talk about legislation in Congress that would establish a caregiver credit bill. Caregivers could receive up to five years of credit for time taken off work to care for a loved one. Register at http://cfor.cc/caregiver-teletownhall. 
2) Nominate a Champion for our Caregiving Champions program!  We are now accepting nominations for our Caregiving Champions campaign. Champions will be featured on the Alliance's website that showcases caregiving leaders in all 50 states. The program will begin this summer.
