Hello,
I just got back to Washington from a very productive set of 1-1 side meetings at the National Governors Association conference. We had already met with 33 governors about employment for people with disabilities, and over the past few days we met with several more. But now we will be working more intensely with specific governors so we can see meaningful progress in an area that has literally been stalled for decades.
I am very pleased to report that several of the governors are making swift and smart changes – and many others are preparing for them in the future. I call it the "Jackie Robinson Strategy," as we are working for fast, meaningful and successful integration for people with disabilities into the workforce. We are getting ready for more home runs! I want you to know what is going on. Thus, I hope you will join me for a conference call on Tuesday, July 22nd at 2 PM ET.
This is a new and exciting strategy, and I am optimistic that it will work. Please do join us on July 22nd at 2 PM Washington time! To RSVP go HERE so we can send you the powerpoint and dial in number.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Laszlo Mizrahi
