Highlights

• During the second quarter, the funds managed by Wespath received significant new inflows from the Texas Methodist Foundation (Austin, Texas), the Cunningham Children’s Home (Urbana, Illinois) and the Dakotas United Methodist Foundation (Mitchell, South Dakota).
Release of Sustainable Investing Report
• On July 9, the General Board of Pension and Health Benefits published its inaugural Sustainable Investing report, describing the implementation of the agency’s sustainable investing program by its Wespath Investment Management division.
Expansion of Investment Team
• Kirsty Jenkinson joined the Wespath team in May as Managing Director, Sustainable Investment Strategies – a newly created position. Kirsty previously served as director of Governance and Sustainable Investment at F&C Asset Management in London.
Enhancements to Wespath.com Online Account Management System
• In June, Wespath launched an updated version of its online account management system—Institutional Investor Portal (IIP). Users now have the ability to:
o Submit redemption requests to be processed via wire
o Submit and store multiple sets of ACH instructions for external bank accounts (to be used for both purchases and redemptions)
o View a list of all users with access to their organization’s account
o Select a user-defined date when viewing balances across all of their organization’s Wespath accounts
o Access the system using the Apple Safari and Google Chrome browsers
