In Memoriam: Nancy Brooks The Episcopal Office

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.    He makes me lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside still waters;    he restores my soul.(Psalm 23:1-3) Brothers and sisters, We inform you with sadness that Nancy Brooks, a longtime staff member at our Camp Wrightwood, died on August 8, 2014. Nancy’s time with us ended shortly after she was diagnosed with cancer.  Yet, we know that we will remember her with affection. Let us pray for God’s comforting presence to be with Nancy’s family, friends, Camp Wrightwood, and all those whose lives received Nancy’s loving touch. Rev. Albert Jansen, a member of the California-Pacific Annual Conference, finished his course in faith on August 19, 2014, and now rests from his labors. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline; children, Neil, Perry and Gayle.
