Here's some highlights of the month:
- Family Movie Night "Monsters U": SATURDAY Sept 13th 5:00-8:00 We’re taking our summer movie nights inside for the Fall. It’s earlier, self-contained, and we’re adding a potluck, too! We'll have root beer floats, lots of fans, and do everything possible to make this a cool space out of the heat. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors; bring a blanket, pillow or something to sit on (or we’ll have chairs), bring food to share (or just something for your family) and we’ll have the entertainment!
- Toddler Playgroup: TUESDAYS 10:00-11:30 Meet neighbors with your little one! All toddlers, 1-2 years are welcome to come and play in the playroom. No agenda, just an enclosed space to let your toddler do their thing with others and different toys. You get to talk with other adults and get out of the house! Also, if you have an infant in tow, there’s lots of eyes and hands around to help you out! You’re not alone during this busy stage of your life!!
- Breastfeeding Support Group: WEDNESDAYS 11:30-12:45

- Preschool Learn and Play: FRIDAYS 10:00-11:30
We are a group of preschoolers ages 2-4 (give or take) who play, eat, and learn together with a loved one (mom, dad, nanny, grandparent, etc.) Every week there will be a theme, which a story, snack, song, and craft will work together to learn more about that topic. We start and end with a little free-play time and have about 30 minutes of instruction. Younger siblings are welcome but know this is geared for older children.
- Faith on Tap: Thursday, September 25th 6:30-8:00 Join us on fourth Thursdays to hang out in a local backyard, where we participate in casual theological discussions over a pint of local beers and munchies. This is a great way to meet people in the community and church in a very comfortable, non-threatening venue. If you're interested, please email Brent at Brent@nhunited.org. - Adams Avenue Street Fair September 27th-28th 10am-7pm For the past 33 years, Normal Heights has shut down parts of Adams Avenue for an 8-stage free music festival, carnival, and shopping-fest. During these two full days, thousands of people will be walking past our church, and we are happy to provide a toddler play space, baby feeding and care area, and bathrooms for people with special needs. Stop on by and take a break from the heat with us!
