Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. (Matt. 7:7).
Yesterday was my Dad's birthday; he would have been 100 years old yesterday. I found myself reflecting on my Dad, his influence on me, my brothers, upon Jan and me, upon our kids (our son spent several summers with him and Mom, and he and our daughter-in-law named their oldest after him, and "Otho" isn't a name one picks lightly!).
He posted this saying at several places around our house when we were growing up. It was his way of living into his faith, and encouraging us in ours. It stuck. And all of us and our families are now and still doing our best to follow this same Jesus. So, ask, seek, and knock. Jesus will answer and your life will be forever changed. Amen. D
