Rev. Dennis Wallace on fruitfulness
The Rev. Dennis Wallace has served The United Methodist Church
for over three and a half decades and exudes the love of Jesus through every
fiber of his being and witnessed through his actions. Wallace created a program
called Assistant to the Pastor where he invites people to walk with him as a
way to explore God’s calling upon their lives. The program has led to 10 people
going into full-time ministry. Many are serving the Great Plains Conference. In
his time at Asbury UMC, in Wichita, Kansas, the church has grown from one
campus to two – with the second campus now worshiping 300 weekly.
Wallace focuses on the importance of clarity of call and vision
for the pastor; responding to leadership needs and change in the congregation;
and spiritual self-care as it pertains to fruitfulness in the congregation, as
part of every pastor’s life. Check out these audio files that you can
