Christmas for the Community Toy Drive
Continuing through Friday, December 12, PazNaz is facilitating a toy drive for girls and boys ages 2-12. Large donation boxes can be found in the foyer of the Sanctuary. Each unwrapped toy donation will be a blessing to the children of PazNaz's community partners.

Saturday, December 13, from 10:00 am-2:00 pm in Gilmore Hall
PazNaz is hosting a Christmas Party for the children and families of Child S.H.A.R.E. This party is an incredible opportunity to show love to LA County foster families by providing a place for the children to play games, sing carols, take a picture with Santa, receive gifts, and more! Around 70 volunteers are needed to host this event for approximately 500 foster children.

A Helping Hands Christmas Party
Saturday, December 20, from 10:00 am-2:00 pm in Gilmore Hall
PazNaz is hosting a Christmas party for the families of the Helping Hands Food Bank. Compassionate Ministries needs 30 individuals to prepare a potluck dish for the event and 50 individuals to volunteer at the event. Additionally, you can sponsor $20 gift cards that will be given as a Christmas gift.

Church in the Park "Christmas Care Packages"
On Sunday, December 21, Church in the Park will provide "care packages" to the homeless of Central Park. Care packages will contain hygiene and toiletry items such as toothpaste, soap, and hand sanitizer, as well as holiday cookies and treats. Seeking consistency, interested groups (or individuals) should make it a goal to provide 200 pieces of a particular item (i.e., 200 tubes of toothpaste). Products need to be brought to PazNaz by Monday, December 15. Individual care packages may also be sponsored for $10 each.

Church in the Park/Helping Hands "Barefoot Sunday"
On Sunday, December 14, accept the invitation to step out of your shoes and into the hearts and lives of those in need. Bring or wear a pair of new or gently used shoes to donate and plan to go home barefoot. Shoes will be distributed to the attendees of Church in the Park and the families of Helping Hands.

If you would like to give a monetary donation directly to any of these specific opportunities, please note "Compassionate Ministries" in the memo line of your check and place your contribution in the Sundayoffering, make an online donation with a designation of "Compassionate Ministries," or deliver your donation to the office of Compassionate Ministries.
