Groundswell "Petition delivery for Angela tomorrow: Add your name to help stop her deportation" for Thursday, 4 December 2014

Groundswell
Angela doesn’t have 3-6 months to wait until President Obama’s executive action accepts applications – even though she may qualify as an undocumented mom of two U.S. citizen children.
It’s why she entered Sanctuary in West Kensington Ministry Church in Philadelphia two weeks ago – to keep her family together as she fights her deportation order.
TOMORROW, we’re applying for Angela’s stay of removal and will be delivering her petition with the application and letters of support from over 150 multifaith leaders. Can you help us get to 5,000 signers to show the immigration officers reviewing her case that supporters of Sanctuary across the country stand with this courageous mom and immigrant rights activist?
Angela is an inspiration to all of us in the Sanctuary movement. “I may qualify under Obama's new program,” Angela says, “but as a Christian I cannot be happy until all deportations end.I'm in Sanctuary to end my deportation order and all deportations."
As people of faith, we are called to stand with our undocumented brothers and sisters in the face of oppression. We know that all families and individuals are sacred, and deserve justice, dignity, and compassion – regardless of their immigration status. Please join us as we put our faith in action to push for immediate relief for Angela and her family.
Thank you for supporting Angela and the Sanctuary movement.
In Solidarity,
Nicole Kligerman
