Dear Friends,
Can you believe it - the Season of Lent is almost upon us - already; Ash Wednesday is February 18. One of the things that has been a very helpful tool for our spiritual preparation is the "Lenten Devotional" that YOU, our members prepare. I know it's late, but, I'm confident at least 40 of you will respond with a short devotional for our DSE's. Here are the particulars:
1. Theme - our theme is "Sharing His Footsteps."
2. Brevity is a good thing.
3. Send your devotional to Jim Cook ( jcook@trinitygnv.org) ASAP, but by February 20 (We clergy can fill in before then.
4. Format: Scripture, followed by short devotional - following the normal DSE format.
Thanks so much. I always get so much out of your sharing, as do so many of our members.
Don't forget Rev. Cliff Patrick's special program at Trinity's Friday Night Praise Service - 7:00 in the chapel - for Black History Month.
And, PIES, we need a few more pies for the Talent/No Talent show this coming Sunday night at 6. If you can donate a pie for the auction, please bring it to the kitchen on Sunday between any of the services.
