Updates from the National Alliance for Caregiving
1) Join the National Alliance for Caregiving, AARP, and ReACT for the#PoweringCare social media campaign today through June 26th. The campaign, themed around what powers caregivers - from technology to employer support and resources - will feature co-hosts Amy Goyer (@AmyGoyer) from AARP, and the National Alliance for Caregiving (@NA4Caregiving). Each week of the campaign will feature a live hour-long Q&A Twitter chat on Wednesdays at 1:00PM EST that will include resources, data and valuable cross-sector insights. To join the conversation please use the hashtag #PoweringCare. The ReACT #PoweringCare campaign will conclude with a webinar on June 26th at 1:00pm EST.
2) Alliance CEO Gail Gibson Hunt was quoted recently in an article on caring for an aging population on Voice of America. She also discussed the global issue of caregiving and what other countries are doing in this area. The article and audio segment can be found here.
