PRAISES:
Costly Education
Attending school in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) isn’t free and costs anywhere from $5US to $50US per month. Many parents simply don’t have the funds to send their children to school, let alone one where they can receive a good education. Nazarenes in Southern DRC saw the need and on October 5, Complexe Scolaire du Nazaréen opened its doors to the community of Katuba, hosting kindergarten through fifth grade for $6.50 per month. Growth in the USA/Canada Region
The USA/Canada Region reports that more than 50,000 people received Christ as their personal Savior on the region in the past year. Praise be to God!

GLOBAL MINISTRY REQUESTS
Eurasia Regional Conference
Nazarenes across the Eurasia Region gathered for challenging plenary sessions and workshops focused on reconciliation and being Ambassadors for Christ on the region. Pray that God will be able to use what each person learned in powerful, redemptive, practical, and God-glorifying ways on the Eurasia Region.
The Rains Came
We praise God that it rained several nights in a row in drought stricken Papua New Guinea PNG) last week. Please continue to pray for:
More and regular rain
Food for the poorest people who can't afford to buy food at the stores, or even at the markets with inflated prices
That the ministry of Nazarene Hospital in Kudjip will not be adversely affected (water needed for many functions at the hospital)
Christian people in the communities will have extra to share with those who have little or none
PML Field Focus – CIS Field
The Armenia District is our focus today as we pray through the countries on the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) Field.
Pray for:
The growing congregation of Yerevan Church of the Nazarene who needs a new place for worship
The registration process of a Nazarene non-profit in Armenia
The development of an apostolic heart for the pastors in Armenia as they dream together of starting new churches and entering the country of Georgia in the years ahead
The Church of the Nazarene entered the country of Armenia in 2002 and today there are four churches – two fully organized and two not yet organized – with a total membership of 179. As of October 2015, more than 17,000 Syrians, primarily of ethnic Armenian background, have found refuge in Armenia since the start of the Syrian civil war. Armenian Nazarenes, while small in number, have provided significant help to the refugees. Gavin Fothergill’s Father
Please pray for the father of missionary Gavin Fothergill, who last week went into the hospital having a difficult time breathing only for doctors to discover cancer in most of his major organs. Mr. Fothergill began chemotherapy treatments on October 31. Gavin, his wife, Jill, and their children are traveling to the U.S. from the Democratic Republic of Congo where they serve. Please join the Fothergill family in prayer for God’s healing touch on Gavin’s dad and traveling mercies for the family.
BEREAVEMENT
Family of Earl Mosteller
Retired missionary Earl Mosteller passed away on October 27 at the age of 97. In 1958, Earl and his wife, Gladys, were the first Nazarene missionaries to be sent to Brazil. Prior to serving in Brazil, they served in Cabo Verde (now called Cape Verde). After ministering in Brazil for many years, they served in Portugal and the Azores. A service is being planned for a later date. Please pray for Gladys and the Mosteller family during this time of remembering Earl.
Thank you for praying.
"The Bible nowhere indicates that God withdraws us from the troubles of life.
In fact, we become more involved in life’s troubles when we come to Christ.
But he gives us power to go on with the battle."[Billy Graham]
