The Naz Youth Group is a family. We are a community of Christ-followers that exist to serve God. We also really like Dodgeball, come hang out with us!
Upcoming Sundays at 10:30am
- November 22 - Jeremy is co-teaching with Dee for part of the sermon during our New Celebration service at church. Service starts at 10:30. Mid High will still be meeting for their Sunday morning service (The Bridge). After church we have our family flag football game, the 17th annual Turkey Bowl, at 12:30pm!
- November 29 - kick-off to Advent with our church family!
- December 6 - Joyful Sounds of Christmas. Literally all the Christmas music your body can handle for one season.
- December 13 - one of our favorite church traditions - the SDFC Children's Musical.
Winter Camp is Halfway Full!
Spots are filling quickly. Over half of our spots are already full for this year, don't miss out, get signed up ASAP!
If we reach our maximum early there is a possibility that we can get more spots but we can't sign up for more until we fill our existing spots.

Important Dates In The Next Month
- Sunday November 22 @12pm - Our 17th Annual "Turkey Bowl"
Flag Football Game. We'll start playing at 12:30 pm on the Catalina Baseball (behind the firehouse) sports field. All ages are welcome and families are very invited!
- Tuesday November 24 @6pm - Make sure you bring the whole family, especially Grandma, for our annual Family Game Night! This is a fun evening with all ages from our church of board games, snacks, and friendships.
- Friday December 4 - Our first annual Naz Youth "On Fleek" Formal! This is a Mid High only event. Sign up with cash or check in advance to guarantee a ticket.
- Friday December 11th - The third annual 8th Grade Girls Sleepover. This has become a seasonal favorite tradition for this group of ladies and the 8th grade youth staff are so excited for it this year! The sleepover costs $25 which covers Peets, Skyzone, and all the snacks they could hope to eat in one night!
Missions Opportunity
In August 2016 our church will be taking a team to Jean Rabel, Haiti for a week-long service trip. If you are interested in your child or family being part of this trip then please contact Jeremy ASAP to hear the information you need and to review the trip applications (due Dec 1).
Specific Ways to Give & Serve
Camp Scholarships: We try our best to keep our Youth Group activities and events free or at a low cost; but sometimes it is difficult for a family to afford sending their teen(s). This year we gave over $10,000 in scholarships for students to attend winter camp, Elevate, and summer camps. We begin fundraising almost as soon as camp is over. If you would like to give a one-time donation or a monthly donation towards student scholarships talk to Jeremy or Rick!
