Annual Church Conference Business Meeting
Tuesday, January 26, at 6:30 pm at the Downtown Campus (1522 McGee Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64108, United States)
This is the annual business meeting where all church members will vote to approve the 2016 operating budget, review pastoral compensation, recommend pastoral candidates from the church and elect leaders to our church’s governance committees. Everyone is welcome; however, only members may officially vote. As we are one church at multiple locations, we’re excited to hold this meeting at our Downtown campus. No registration required. Childcare available. Questions about this meeting can be directed to Dan Entwistle at dan.entwistle@cor.org.
“The Gathering” – A Vision and Fellowship Night!
Friday, January 29, 5:30-8:15 PM
Leawood Campus Narthex and Sanctuary (13720 Roe Avenue, Leawood, Kansas 66224, United States)
This all-church gathering is our annual vision-casting event. We begin with a chili dinner in the Narthex from 5:30-6:15 pm. At 6:30, we meet in the Sanctuary where we will begin the evening with music from the acclaimed Africa University Choir, visiting us from Zimbabwe. We will receive a brief report fromTuesday night’s business meeting, and then Pastor Adam will share updates on each of our campuses’ building plans and the inside scoop on the latest priorities and dreams we are pursuing in the coming year. Come for the dinner and the meeting, or just the meeting if you’re not able to make the dinner.
We ask that you please register online for dinner or childcare for the evening ofFriday, January 29. There is no cost for the chili dinner, though donation jars are available to help offset the cost. Questions about the Gathering can be directed to randy.meyer@cor.org.
