"Why do you support PIH?" John Malcolm, Partners In Health in Boston, Massachusetts, United States for Friday, 5 August 2016

Why do you support PIH?
"Why do you support PIH?" John Malcolm, Partners In Health in Boston, Massachusetts, United States for Friday, 5 August 2016Exactly one month ago, I started as Chief Development Officer for Partners In Health. Every day, one central goal guides my work:
To build resources in communities that have none—and bring lifesaving health care to the world's poorest people.
I believe PIH makes real progress toward this goal with every passing day. And Gary, that's why I work here now.
So as I get to know the PIH family, I'd like to hear from you. Why do you support PIH?
As I hope you know, thanks to you, our work has direct, tangible impact on people's lives.
In the last year alone, your support revitalized a ramshackle clinic in Pleebo, Liberia. It sent mobile clinics to Haiti's poorest, most vulnerable families. It opened a new health center in Malawi's most remote reaches—and so much more.
I'm so grateful you got involved in this crucial work, and I'd love to hear your story.
Please, share why you support PIH:
