In grave danger of cholera from Joey Pierce, Partners In Health of Boston, Massachusetts, United States for Friday, 21 October 2016

In grave danger of cholera from Joey Pierce, Partners In Health of Boston, Massachusetts, United States for Friday, 21 October 2016
Cholera has likely sickened 1,400 people since Hurricane Matthew crashed into Haiti's shores—and it will only get worse from here.
The storm contaminated crucial drinking water and razed 34 cholera treatment units, spiking the epidemic while making health care even more scarce. Now it's the rainy season, which will make it even more difficult to stop this scourge.
Today, 1,250,000 Haitians—including a half-million children—have no safe water.
They live in grave danger of cholera and other illnesses, and every day, more people fall ill. Please, we must act now.
Your gift brings clean water, sanitation supplies, and urgent care that can stop cholera in its tracks.
With deep gratitude,
Joey
