Experiencing Wonder!

Experiencing Wonder!
As I experienced another medical crisis, there was a discovery about how we who have been called by Jesus to a redemptive life really experience community. God's community. I was recently experienced this wonder as be checked into the hospital, which turned out to be for three days. In this wonder, there was no one to be found to be able to take care of my son while I was in the hospital. Normally, he would be find at home except since January 2017 the bedroom window has been broken and the landlord refuses to fix the window saying I need to pay for the window to be fixed. So the hospital was able to find a room for me where my son would be able to stay with me in the hospital which worked out, but was really not the best way to do this. There are several more issues concerning this wonder is that not only the window is broken, but the heater has not worked in over a year and I am unable to fully clean my house from top to bottom. The best way to do this is for me pay for the window, pay for a new heater, and pay for a housekeeping service to fully clean my apartment, but I am without the financial resources to do this. There is a need and a prayer that I will be able to find another two bedroom apartment preferably in a senior housing apartment that will allow my son to live there as well. There appears to be a misunderstanding in what real community should exist in the life of the church. As one pastor has said that when you are a pallbearer for a group of people when one is in need you help the person so that when you are in need they come alongside you. I have heard to my life and my Christian life that the church is this community, but in today's world when we talk about being inclusive what does this really mean or with the church community people are so busy with their activities that they are unable to help or be of assistance for others except people who have been close to them or in their family circle. There are people who have lived community and written about true community in the past 50 plus years as the Philosopher Jean Vanier has spoken and written about as he lived in the community called L'Arche, which people call him the founder while he says the two men with mental disabilities he first lived with are the true founders of L'Arche. In this day and age, especially with the current state of the government political system and the state of the church How do we become less divided and become "Little Messiahs" as The Messiah Jesus live and taught from what we read in Scripture from Genesis to Revelation? How do we trust in God rather than our own resources? How does giving over to the Holy Spirit and letting Him lead and fill us with His Power to Love Unconditionally all people whether they are poor, rich, physically abled, mentally abled, physically disabled, mentally disabled, immigrants, refugees, different religion, different race, different sexual orientation, etc.? Are not we all of one race, the Human Race, made in the full Image of God as we are? Lord Jesus, help us to be your Holy and Loving Children in this life as the next.
