I’m writing from Birmingham, Alabama where I joined faith and moral leaders in their call challenging Roy Moore’s extreme and immoral policy agenda that hurts the poor and vulnerable. Long before the accusations he’s struggled to deny, Roy Moore has backed attacks on health care, living wages, immigrants, gun control and other policies that endanger vulnerable children.
This is not the gospel of Christ. This is the gospel of greed. It’s the religion of racism and lies, and not the religion of love.

Tonight, we have been invited by local leaders to host a Moral Revival Mass Meeting in Alabama. This is the 13th stop on a national Moral Revival Mass Meetings and Public Events Tour, which is being organized by the Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call For Moral Revival.
