| Reconciling Ministries Network gives thanks to Robyn Henderson-Espinoza for Robyn’s contribution as North Central Jurisdiction Regional Organizer for the past 14 months. As a regional organizer, Robyn worked with the North Central Jurisdiction to increase the number of Reconciling communities, invite communities into deeper postures of welcome, and organize volunteers through supporting annual conference teams, leading trainings, and building relationships. Robyn’s on-the-ground work has helped Reconciling Ministries Network have a strong presence in the NCJ on a local level, bridging the work of our national network with the real-lived experiences of individuals and communities. “Organizing for inclusion was my goal," said Robyn "with hopes of bringing a broader intersectional lens to all of our work, including a focus on racism. I sought to build bridges across difference to maximize our organization’s efforts in order for there to be not just an increase in Reconciling communities, but that our Reconciling communities would be able to be radically inclusive in order to contribute to radical social change.” Robyn will be leaving the position to focus on public theology and public writing via blogging and building capacity in the LGBTQIA movement, along with completing the dissertation. We wish Robyn all the best in next steps and give thanks for Robyn’s contributions to the RMN team. |
