First Saturdays
Did you know that a group of KCFC ladies meets at Panera (103rd & State Line) on the first Saturday of every month, for a time of food, fellowship, and prayer?? Ladies of all ages are invited to this relaxed time together. The group will meet tomorrow, June 6, at 9am. Questions? Contact Ruby Ruschhaupt!
Theology for Everyone
Dr. Tom Noble will be presenting "The Gospel and the Creed: An Examination of the Gospel" TOMORROW at 8am at Christ Church Anglican in Overland Park, KS. He will be examining the how the Gospel message emerged in the worship of the early church, how the Gospel is particularly proclaimed in the sacrament of baptism, and how it flows into the various creeds, eventually reaching authoritative form in the Nicene Creed. This event is limited to the first 150 registrations. Admission is $25 and includes breakfast. Go to www.christchurch-op.org for more information.
Summer of Discovery
Kids in grades K-6 are invited to a Summer of Discovery, beginning this Wednesday, May 27! Every Wednesday night from 6:30pm-7:30pm, our kids will explore and discover different gifts and talents, as led by some of our very gifted church members. Topics include: arts, sciences, games, languages, woodworking, and music! Contact Margie Schwarz for more information!
Open Gym
This summer, the gym will be open on Tuesdays from 1pm-3pm for free play for all children 12-years-old and younger. No adult supervision will be provided by the church, so parents and guardians will need to remain present, or make other arrangements.
Watercolor Classes
Family Picnic
Next Sunday, June 14, kids 12-years-old and younger are invited to bring their families to Leawood Park after the morning service for a summer picnic! Bring a sack lunch and any outdoor activities you enjoy. The group will meet at the main shelter.

Nepal Response
In response to the recent earthquakes that have struck Nepal, Nazarene Compassionate Ministries is partnering with the local church in Nepal to meet the most critical short-term needs of families in need: water, food, and shelter. We have the opportunity to join with our brothers and sisters around the world in praying for grieving families, for vulnerable children and families, for those responding to the disaster, and for our church leaders and members in Nepal.
