Thank you for standing with us to show that as people of faith, we believe the United States has a moral responsibility to be a global leader in welcoming refugees. Now, we have an unprecedented opportunity to demand that the U.S. lead by example in finding solutions to the largest refugee crisis in modern history.
In just a few weeks, the United Nations and President Obama will host summits on the refugee crisis. We are urging President Obama and the U.S. Congress to demonstrate leadership by increasing refugee resettlement and ensuring adequate funding for both international refugee assistance and services for refugees resettled here. The most important messages will come from grassroots leaders like you.
You have already shown that you stand with refugees. Can we count on you to speak out again during these historic summits, urging the United States to lead by example in addressing the refugee crisis? Sign this postcard today and add your voice!
