It's Not Too Late to Join Us at Wild Goose Festival 2018 in Hot Springs, NC
This July 12th-15th, the Wild Goose Festival returns to Hot Springs, North Carolina, gathering thousands of activists, artists, and faith leaders from across the country over four incredible days of provocative conversation, art, music, and camping beside the beautiful French Broad River.
Speakers and musicians include Ruby Sales, public theologian, historian, activist, social critic, and director of the SpiritHouse Project; Brian McLaren, author, speaker, activist, and public theologian; Jen Hatmaker, a speaker and blogger known for challenging the evangelical Christian community’s attitude toward LGBTQ people; The Red Dirt Boys with Phil Madeira; Otis Moss III, Senior Pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, IL, who will be joined by the stirring Trinity UCC choir; Barbara Brown Taylor, New York Times best-selling, award winning author, teacher, and Episcopal priest; and Amy Grant, award-winning musician and artist.
The Festival also invites its community into a uniquely co-creative relationship, featuring over two hundred workshops, musicians, and artists to form an environment rich in opportunity for connection, engagement, learning, and fun!
Author Brian McLaren says, “At Wild Goose, people flock together to celebrate a way of life rooted in faith, justice, creativity, and beauty. It’s like a family reunion where you meet relatives you never knew you had.”
Dr. Robyn Henderson-Espinoza says, “It is the opportunity to build bridges across lines of radical difference.”
Speaker and author Frank Schaeffer notes, “People can ask questions that they usually keep to themselves and feel safe about doing so.”
Tickets are on sale now with group discounts available. For more information, see www.wildgoosefestival.org.
