Bring Your Backpacks on August 9!On Sunday, August 9, there will be a special blessing during the 10:30 am service. Summer of Stories
Stories of DiscipleshipDo summer right by coming to PazNaz’s Summer of Stories on Wednesday nights through August 19. Each week this summer, PazNaz will be hosting fun, intergenerational evenings filled with stories from the PazNaz community for you to enjoy. This Wednesday, August 5, at 6:30 pm will bring stories of discipleship on the patio. The night will feature a chalk art contest and hot dogs, chips, and soda ($1 per item). Don't miss all the great events this Summer
FUN:101 Circle the Rose Bowl - All women are invited to spend time living life together through a variety of summer activities. First, beat the heat and start your weeks off by running, walking, or shuffling around the Rose Bowl with girlfriends on Mondays, July 13-August 17, at 7:00 am. Welcome Back
Choir & OrchestraIf you have ever wanted to participate in either the choir or the orchestra, now is a great time to start! The Celebration Choir will reconvene on Wednesday, August 19, for hors d’oeuvres at 5:30 pm and rehearsal from 6:45 - 8:30 pm. The Sunrise Orchestra will resume on Thursday, August 20, with a dessert party and rehearsal from 7:30 - 9:00 pm. Both groups meet in Room 101, Lower Sanctuary each week. Wow Jam Mission Experience
Coming to Pasadena on Sunday, August 30PazNaz’s Compassionate Ministries is partnering with Wow Jam International for a unique local mission experience in Pasadena on Sunday, August 30. 2:00 pm - Memorial Service at the Merriam Chapel of Atherton Home (214 South Atlantic Boulevard, Alhambra, 91801).
5:00-8:00 pm - Open Casket Viewing at Rose Hills Mortuary (550 East Main Street, Alhambra, 91801).
Friday, August 7
11:00 am - Interment at Rose Hills Cemetery (3888 Workman Mill Road, Whittier, 90601). Enter at Gate 1 and ask for directions.
Sunday, August 9
2:00 pm - Memorial Service at PazNaz in Lee Chapel
Reception to follow the service in Gilmore Hall.
