Last minute gifts can be lots of fun! They can bring the element of surprise — or be quite useful in keeping the peace! Sometimes, last minute gifts can be the most meaningful of all.
Every year about this time, I teasingly tell Nancy that I haven't done any Christmas shopping for her yet. I say that I'll just wait and buy whatever is left on the shelves on Christmas eve. The truth is, Nancy's little presents have been carefully wrapped and have joined the grouping under the Christmas tree (just last night).
I'm still planning on running out today for just "one more thing." Last minute gifts don't have to be expensive; they don't even have to be wrapped! They just peek over the top of the Christmas stocking, in cheerful generosity — little celebrations of love.
