A Couple Extra Things
This year, your district admin staff resolved to be more in touch with its local congregations. We thought the best way to accomplish this was to regularly contact each church throughout the district with a personalized word of encouragement. However, having to make several corrections/additions to the newsletter on a monthly basis accomplishes the same goal.

PRIME TIME RETREAT
Please mark April 23-26 on your calendars. That weekend will be the SoCal District's PrimeTime retreat, being held again at Murrieta Hot Springs resort. Registration is soon coming.
SEMINARY OFFERING
Pastors, January is the month for our Seminarian offering. Your voice of support and encouragement to your congregations is important. Seminary is dependent upon the support of local churches to continue the tradition of preparing Nazarene pastors to serve around the globe. We ask that you show the video NTS provides and persist in prayer for the work in Kansas City and around the world.
HOLINESS SUMMIT
We forgot to mention the Holiness Summit in the January newsletter. Just as a reminder, this upcoming February 17th, Riverside Arlington Ave. Church of the Nazarene will be hosting a "Holiness Summit" specifically designed for pastoral staff* in the greater Southern California area, regardless of district. Beginning at 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM, we will hear from General Superintendent Emeritus Dr. J.K. Warrick and Dr. Roger Hahn, Professor of New Testament at Nazarene Theological Seminary on preaching holiness and the centrality of holiness in the New Testament, respectively. PLNU's concert choir will also be joining us, providing times of music and worship. Mark you calendars and plan to be with us for this formative event. Please register HERE.
