NEW COURSES STARTING THIS THURSDAY:
7 Habits of a Healthy Life - A 4-week study of the book Wellness on a Shoestring led by Rev. Wendy Lyons Chrostek and Ginger Vaughn Pullin.
Optimizing Any Relationship - A 3-week class led by Diane Breneman to intentionally transform the mind, emotions, and physical body to facilitate better relationships through the profound and healing connection to the Spirit of God.
COURSES STARTING SOON (still time to register):
9/10 - Live Well. An 8-week course for those struggling with depression and anxiety, as well as their family members.
9/17 - MidLife Divorce Recovery for Women. A 10 week course led by Carol Swift, CCM, based on curriculum written by author Suzy Brown.

THURSDAY Sep 3: Grief Ministry continues the book study led by Rev. Karen Lampe on Thursdays through Oct 22: Beyond the Broken Heart: A Journey Through Grief by Julie Yarbrough in Room C144. "Beginning the Journey" led by Darry Holtz, also continues with week 2 of this 5-week small group for newcomers who have only recently begun the grief journey (Room C144b). This Week in Live Forward Worship: 'Simple Math' Continues Thursday
We are in week two of our new sermon series led by Rev. Steven Blair, Simple Math, that uses math symbols to provide you with Good News and Good Tools that will help you make changes in your life. This week's sermon is titled "Greater Than." Live Forward Share Groups follow worship at 7:30 pm. In the Essentialsgroup (Room C136) Rev. Steven Blair will be teaching on "Forgiveness." NEW 8-Week Session starts in one week! Live Well: Emotional Wellness begins Thursday September 10 at 6:30 pm. This course offers a variety of support and educational groups for those struggling with depression and anxiety, as well as groups for their family members. Room assignments will be received at 5:30 pm check-in on Sep 10 in Room C141. Registration required at www.cor.org/livewell.

New 3-week Prayer Class begins this week: (Still time to register at cor.org/prayer)
Sep 3-17, Optimizing Any Relationship, 6:30-8 pm, Wesley Covenant Chapel. A three-week prayer and meditation class led by Diane Breneman in Wesley Covenant Chapel.

1st and 3rd Thursday program meetings return September 17, 6:30-8 pm, Room C028. We will hear from "Military Matters" - an organization providing pro bono legal work for veterans who are in trouble.
