Help us spread the Franciscan vision! from Michael Poffenberger, CAC Executive Director in Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States for Wednesday, August 26, 2014
Share the news: Join a webcast with Richard Rohr, Ilia Delio, and Shane Claiborne.

We're delighted that The Francis Factor conference next week is completely full!
Nearly 1,000 people will join Richard Rohr, Shane Claiborne, and Ilia Delio to learn how St. Francis and Pope Francis are changing the world and how we can be a part of that change.
Thanks to technology, we're able to welcome countless others, from all around the globe, to watch the event via live webcast.
If you aren't attending The Francis Factor in person, would you like to join us online? Click here to register.
St. Francis and Pope Francis walk in the steps of Jesus, the ultimate radical, who changed people's hearts during his lifetime and beyond through simple words and actions of love. Their transformative way is alive today--and we invite you to participate!
Not everyone can make it to New Mexico for an in-person conference. But we are committed to making contemplative teaching available to as many people as possible.
Just last week, over 1,300 people joined us for a live webcast session with Richard Rohr and Mirabai Starr. We've had a few technology glitches in the past, but we're confident they've been solved in time for the big conference! Here are the details:
The Francis Factor:
How Saint Francis and Pope Francis are changing the world
with Richard Rohr, Shane Claiborne, and Ilia Delio
Sunday, August 30-Tuesday, September 1, 2015
Register--only $59--for access to both the live webcast and online recordings.
CAC's webcast system is simple for viewers to use and allows a great variety of viewing options. You can watch the event live or view the recorded version at your convenience through October 18, 2015. You can watch on your smartphone or tablet, on a computer, or on a big screen (using Roku or Chromecast). You can watch alone or with as many folks as can fit in your living room.
Here are a few ideas:
Host a potluck and a viewing of your favorite talks (choose just one or two).
If you're part of a small group that meets regularly, show one of the sessions at each meeting for several weeks.
If you're not part of a small group, think about forming one--perhaps for an hour of learning and discussion on a theme, followed by contemplative practice (like Centering Prayer or lectio divina).
Show one of The Francis Factor talks as part of a sermon at your church.
Or just watch it yourself, with a community around the world!
Registration for the webcast closes at noon, U.S. Mountain Daylight Time, on Monday, August 31, 2015 so register soon to secure your spot.
I hope you'll join us. And I hope you'll spread the word to anyone who needs a good dose of inspiration. Fr. Richard, Shane, and Sr. Ilia offer the hopeful vision of St. Francis and Pope Francis--a vision we can share and together change the world.
Peace and Every Good,

Michael Poffenberger
