Health for All "ICYMI: President Obama Announces Immigration Action" for Tuesday, 25 November 2014

Late last week, President Obama announced that he was taking executive action to protect nearly 5 million immigrants from deportation and keep their families together. With this bold step, hundreds of thousands of men and women in California and across the country will no longer have to live in constant fear of being torn away from their families, jobs, and homes.
This action from President Obama will ease the trauma caused by unjust deportations for millions of families and allow them to lead healthier lives. Not only that, but it could even mean that hundreds of thousands of undocumented Californians will now be able to access affordable health coverage through Medi-Cal.
Will you share this social media graphic to celebrate this step forward for our state and nation and call on California to finish the job?

There’s still more work to be done to ensure that every single Californian is able to access affordable health coverage, live and work without fear, and fully contribute… but this historic announcement is an important step.
Join us in sharing this news and help us continue to raise awareness about the need for health coverage for all!

Sincerely,
