Greetings RezDowntowners,
We are a day away from Thanksgiving and I know that many of you are preparing to spend time with friends and family. Before you head out to celebrate with grateful hearts, I wanted to share with you a quick message of personal thanksgiving for all that you have done and for the ways that you have sacrificed to build Christian community in the heart of this great city! It is humbling to think about what God is doing, has done and will continue to do through you in the future. Please know that Wendy and I are blessed and privileged to be in ministry with you. Along with that we are so excited to be able to celebrate with Great Thanksgiving our 5 year Anniversary this weekend in worship. On Saturday and Sunday we will be celebrating in worship and I want to invite you to join us. Invite your friends and family that they might come, see and join us as well! This weekend we'll kick off the season of Advent with grateful hearts and eyes focused on a future filled with hope! We will have a special gift for everyone in attendance and we'll even have something sweet to pass out as well!
In the meantime, Happy Thanksgiving and know that I am so honored to be a part of this community and I am so proud to serve Christ with you in Kansas City. Have a great Wednesday and I'll look forward to seeing you live and in person this weekend as we offer all that we have and all that we are to God!
