RespectAbilty with Jennifer Laszlo Mizrahi for Monday, 3 November 2014
Hello friend!

I have no way of knowing whom you will vote for. I don't know whether you will vote Democrat, Republican or Independent. But one thing I am confident in is this: You want every leader you elect to share your support for opportunities for people with disabilities, because people with disabilities should have fair and equal rights and opportunities, just like everyone else!

Our issues are just as important as any other issue covered this election. That's why I'm writing to ask you to make a choice now that will be as important as the one you will make tomorrow. Donate to RespectAbilityUSA now and help us educate with our newly elected leaders in Washington as well as in Governor's offices around the country so they can enable us to make our future strong.

Your gift will provide much needed resources at a critical time. Every governor, according to section 102 of the new Workforce Innovation Opportunities Act, will have only a limited time to create a "unified plan" to expand opportunities for people with disabilities. Billions of tax dollars will flow to follow those plans. But will they be solid, evidence based plans to expand jobs and create a better future, or more of the failed policies of the past? Your contribution can help make the difference!

As you likely know, this election will surely bring many new faces to public office – many of whom will be brand new to the issues our community cares most about. These new leaders will need the facts.
Every single voice will count and we need you to stand with RespectAbility to educate new and seasoned leaders starting the day after the election! That's because RespectAbility educates legislative and policy officials regularly. We are the only organization that recently went door-to-door seven different times to every single one of the 535 members of Congress -- and reached out to every governor in 2014 to expand opportunities for people with disabilities.

But we can't do this without your help. So if you care about how policy impacts people with disabilities and our future, please donate to RespectAbility today!

With deep appreciation,

Jennifer Laszlo Mizrahi
President, RespectAbilityUSA

P.S. Your tax-deductible donation will be used to help educate the newly elected leaders on core issues that can enable people with disabilities achieve the American dream! Donate HERE to make a difference now!
