COMMITTED TO CHRIST
Committed to Christ is a church-wide discipleship journey with the potential to transform every household and the church itself. For this reason, we want our entire congregation to get in on this transformational experience.
Sunday, May 20, is Pentecost Sunday, the most important Sunday of the Christian year after Resurrection Sunday. As we continue to be intentional about our commitment to Christ, you are invited and encouraged to share something you celebrate. God is healing, delivering, blessing us like crazy and we need to tell the world as an offering unto God! How will we do this? I’m glad you asked! Beginning Sunday, May 13, if you have Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, post a video of your “something to celebrate” and tag us @stjamesumckc and use the hashtag #something2celebrate. If you don’t have social media, don’t worry, a social media station is set up outside of the sanctuary. There you will also have an opportunity to share your “Something to Celebrate”!
