If you have a heart for serving friends who are grieving, adjusting to life with a new baby, or recovering from surgery, consider joining the meals ministry! We cook meals and deliver them to homes for short-term needs. If you don’t like to cook, consider ordering take out and dropping it by instead. Please contact Lindsay Lentz at lklentz320@gmail.com if you are interested!
You and #MeToo: A Discussion
Join us May 7, 6:30 pm, in the 1522 McGee sanctuary, for a discussion on how we can grow as faith-filled community leaders in bringing about mutual respect in our communities. Led by Teri Classick, LCSW, and by RezDT counseling intern, Aurora Molitoris, MPH, this discussion will focus on how to add kindness to a culture of sexual harassment. Please note that this is not a processing or therapy group for survivors of abuse, but a place where all genders and ages are welcome for a discussion on possible solutions, following Pastor Adam's sermon on #MeToo, the weekend of May 5-6. Bring your own dinner, drinks and dessert will be provided. Please register at cor.org/downtown/getconnected. Contact Aurora.Molitoris@cor.org with questions.
Final Women’s Breakfast Before Summer BreakJoin us Saturday, May 12, 9 - 10:30 am at 1522 McGee for breakfast and a roundtable discussion, as we vision and plan for the future of this group.
