Dear Men of the Church of the Resurrection,
Every Spring, Resurrection men of all ages gather for our annual Spiritual Retreat. During these retreats, men have experienced a wonderful sense of God's presence in worship, teaching and friendship, which is impacting their lives in tangible ways.
Our theme this year is "Home!" which surrounds one of Jesus' most beloved parables, the Prodigal Son. We will consider this parable from the perspective of the three characters: The Rebellious Son, The Older Self-Righteous Son, and The Waiting Father.
I have asked two of my ministry colleagues, Rev. Glen Shoup and Chris Folmsbee to join me in unpacking this amazing story.
