UPDATE News & Announcements the United Methodist Church ~ Wednesday, 30 October 2013 ~ The Latest
A clergy member presented a request for a decision of law by the Bishop on the matter of this statement in Resolution 13-16 entitled, "Biblical Obedience," of the June 2013 California-Pacific Annual Conference session.  The Bishop’s decision of law is affirmed by the Judicial Council.
In a letter to Los Angeles Area Bishop Minerva G. Carcaño, General Board of Higher Education and Ministry General Secretary Kim Cape expressed gratefulness for the California-Pacific Annual Conference's "strong support of the churchwide apportioned funds."
Two outstanding leaders will help senior highs from our churches learn how to reach out and make a difference in the community.  Youth who attend will come away energized and with a plan to address a particular need in their church’s community with follow up from the weekend’s leaders.
