Dear Friends,
It seems like a long time since we've been together. Jan and I have
been back and forth between R & R in Fancy Gap, VA and helping
our Virginia Tech family move - into an apt on campus where Eric will
be Faculty in Residence as part of VT's residential learning program.
Their family will be surrounded by about 300 students. Shevon always
liked the idea of a big family! A Friday afternoon Tea each week is
their main obligation, but we imagine a lot of "ministry"
will be taking place in their new home. We've been praying to that
end as we
unpacked scores of boxes and helped settle them in.
Jan and I have also found time to hike in the mountains, read some
books, gaze at amazing sunsets and connect more deeply with God, for
which we are grateful.
We return home tomorrow but will be out of town again this Sunday,
which gives me the entree to express my great appreciation to Revs.
Esther, David and Aaron and all your/our amazing staff as they have
continued ministry so effectively this summer.
I'll look forward to being with you on August 10, and remember, we go
back to our regular Sunday morning worship schedule this Sunday:
8:15, 9:40 & 11:00.
God bless. Dan
Remember: we return to our 3 regular Sunday services this Sunday,
August 3 at 8:15, 9:40, 11:00

Pastors
A Word from Rev. Aaron: Many thanks to
all who have expressed an interest in the photography small group...be on
the lookout for information regarding our first meeting. It should be a
lot of fun and it will never be to late to join if you are interested.
Also, I have received a few responses about preferences for a weekday or
Sunday afternoon Christian Believer class but would love to hear from
more...so far it seems the majority would prefer Sunday. E-mail me if you are interested. Finally, I am looking
forward to concluding our series on Unity in the chapel on Wednesday at
6:35 with a sermon titled The
Way Forward (Ephesians 4:1-6, MSG). Hope to see you there!
Have a great week everybody!
A Word from Rev.
Esther: I had a blast preaching on Esther this past
Sunday- thank you for letting me be queen for a day! This week I'll
be preaching once more (I hope you don't get too tired of me!) and I'm
looking forward to exploring God's abundance and hospitality as we look
toward our future. Praying for you this week- blessings!

Missions
This week's Mission Box
is Rebuilding Together North Central Florida (RTNCF). Rebuilding
Together is a home repair organization dedicated to addressing the
substandard housing needs in North Central Florida. They strive to
increase safety, security, and well-being for residents in need by
providing a tangible place for the community members to get involved in
rebuilding efforts. Repairs are completed through coordination
efforts, community contributions, and sub-contracted services.
Volunteers of all skill levels are trained to help meet significant
housing requirements in the communities, giving them a firm foundation
for a successful life. Let's see if Trinity can help rebuild north
central Florida together.
We are looking for volunteers for the big event at the
Madison Youth Ranch on September 23. We will need help with set up; clean up,
serving, and parking. If you are interested please contact the Missions office .
