Missionary Chapter

Saturday, November 1, at 8:30 am 
If you'd like to become a church member at PazNaz, the next Membership Class Breakfast will be Saturday, November 1, at 8:30 amin Gilmore Hall. This free breakfast will be a great opportunity for you to learn about the history of the Church of the Nazarene and PazNaz. You are not required to join the church by taking the class. Don't miss this free, fun-filled, family-friendly annual event with candy, costumes, carnival games, bounce houses, and much more. Come dressed in your best non-scary costume and bring your family and friends to the PazNaz campus on Friday, October 31, from 6:00-8:00 pm to join in on the yearly community celebration. Operation Christmas Child
Pick Up Your Shoebox this Sunday! 
Every year, Operation Christmas Child delivers millions of shoebox gifts to children around the world: shining the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to children affected by war, poverty, disease, and natural disaster. Pick up your empty shoebox on the patio on Sundays and make this an intentional family time of spiritual formation and compassion. NYC 2015
Nazarene Youth Conference is a life-changing experience that happens once every four years. NYC brings together thousands of teenagers for powerful worship, challenging speakers, unforgettable concerts, and impactful service projects. The event will take place July 8-12 and is open to current 8th-12th grade students. The deadline to register is November 1. Fall Retreats
Mark your calendars for two exciting retreat weekends! High School Retreat (9th-12th graders) will take place November 7-9 and costs $85. Middle School Retreat (7th-8th graders) will take place November 14-16and costs $100. For both retreats, a $50 deposit is due on Wednesday, October 29. Boutique Vendors Wanted
Handmade Holiday coming December 4 & 5 
Women's Ministries is seeking vendors of handmade crafts, festive foods, and holiday gifts for Handmade Holiday: A Christmas Boutique. This year's event will be Thursday & Friday, December 4 & 5, from 4:00-10:00 pm. Registration forms are due October 31 and can be found online at www.paznaz.org/ministries/womens-ministries. Christmas Choir Opportunity
You can be part of the Christmas musical this year with only a few special rehearsals. The Christmas Choir will rehearse on Saturdays,November 1 & December 6, and Thursday, November 13. PazNaz will present a new musical The Best Christmas Ever on Saturday andSunday, December 13 & 14, featuring adult and children's choirs, orchestra, and drama. Plan to be part of this exciting event.

Foothills Pregnancy Resource Center's Annual Fundraising Gala

The Foothills Pregnancy Resource Center is hosting its Annual Fundraising Gala on Friday, November 7, at 6:00 pm in Monrovia. The evening will include a silent art auction, special performances, and guest speaker Brandon Kuba, a PazNaz teacher and missionary on his way to Tokyo. Kid's Night Out

Register your child at www.paznaz.mycustomevent.com by Sunday,November 2. The next event will be Saturday, November 8, from 5:00 - 10:00 pm in the upper floor of Arms Hall. The cost is $20 per child with a max of $39 per family. Peace Through Music Concert
Saturday, November 8, at 7:30 pm
PazNaz hosts this annual benefit concert for the Human Relations Commission on Saturday, November 8, at 7:30 pm in the Sanctuary. This year's concert is dedicated to Stand Up to Bullying and features international, national, and local artists with music from Chopin, Paganini, and Bach. Tickets are free to PazNaz attendees (a $20 value) and can be picked up in the church office. You can contact Nat Nehdar with questions at 626.351.8680.
