Life has been hard for Yvonne (Chandra Wilson), and she is reticent to accept help or friendship from LAPD officer Tami Baumann (Kathleen Munroe). Insights are shown in the trials of homelessness and an officer’s beliefs that we are all 2-3 paychecks away from this position.Yvonne and Tami share a love of animals and an inability to fully trust others with their hearts. This film allows us a glimpse into abandonment and that while hearts may not trust human relations they are open to the unconditional love, support and yes, needs of their beloved pets. Both lives are changed by this friendship as will be yours for the watching. I fully recommend this for your viewing.
