Soul Care New Every Motning "[On the contrary,] they are new every morning! How great your faithfulness!" Lamentations 3:23 for Thursday, 12 February 2015

Good Morning, Ministry Partner:
Be Encouraged by God's Word:
People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.[Mark 10:13-16, NIV]
Wisdom from Fellow Pilgrims:
It's funny: I always imagined when I was a kid that adults had some kind of inner toolbox full of shiny tools: the saw of discernment, the hammer of wisdom, the sandpaper of patience. But then when I grew up I found that life handed you these rusty bent old tools—friendships, prayer, conscience, honesty—and said 'do the best you can with these, they will have to do'. And mostly, against all odds, they do.[Anne Lamott]
Pray Together with Us:
Dear God, you are so very wonderful: more wonderful than the flowers, more wonderful than the sky, more wonderful than the sun. We praise you: we bless you: we worship you.[From Infant Prayer]
