Greetings
This weekend, we invite you to tune into our livestreaming of two special events featuring Bishop Mel Talbert. On Saturday, February 28 from 10AM to 4PM ET, Bishop Talbert will be speaking alongside Matt Berryman at the Draw the Circle Wider: Ministry Without Fear event taking place in Orlando, FLA. This event will also feature Nadine Smith, co-founder and CEO of Equality Florida, as well as Dr. Steve Harper, founding vice president of Asbury Seminary, Florida Campus, who will share his story of becoming an LGBTQ ally.
On Sunday, February 29, Bishop Mel Talbert will also be preaching Broadway UMC, Orlando, at 11AM ET.
Join us online as we seek to learn from one another and deepen our postures of welcome.

The Unclean Spirits in The UMC Ordination Process: As long as injustices towards our LGBTQ siblings are maintained systematically in our ordination process, all of us as the body of Christ are held captive to evil.
My Gender Identity is No Mistake: I feel like Jesus would have known what it was like to be an outcast. Even still, he preached a message of love.
The Power of Grace in Coming out in Mozambique: God took the risk in loving me for who I am, and I am taking the same risk of loving the church, even if it is not yet fully open to me, and my LGBTQ family.

Tell the Supreme Cout you want to see marriage equality for all
As the Supreme Court prepares to make a decision about marriage equality, you have the opportunity to join the voices of others across the country in support of love. We invite you to read two different amicus curiae briefs (court documents filed by parties not directly involved in the case) being submitted by major LGBTQ rights organizations. While RMN is not an official partner of these documents, we invite you to sign if you are in agreement as this historical decision draws near.
The deadline for the faith leaders brief is March 1.

All are invited to sign "The People's Brief"
