Through Christ sinners are becoming grace-shaped masterpieces. You did nothing to deserve this. Yet the Master Artist Himself is shaping you with His hands of grace into something beautiful and useful. He is making you brand new, something very different from your misshaped past. One sign that He is working on you is that you are beginning to do good works in His name. You are working works of righteousness and compassion to those in your life. You are giving unearned grace just like you received it. Your new actions are becoming more and more second nature to you. It is now who you are.
“God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” (Ephesians 2:8-10 (NLT))

Uniting Heaven And Earth by H. Lamar Smith
Jesus is on a mission of uniting Heaven and earth. He brought Heaven (God) to the earth in the incarnation. He took earth (Human) to Heaven in the ascension. He will bring the heavenly Jerusalem down to earth (Revelation 21). He is the Temple in which Heaven and earth are perfectly joined (John 1:14). He wants to unite all things in Heaven and earth (Ephesians 1:10). The church is the Temple of the New Israel open to Gentiles, “a house of prayer for all nations.” (Mark 11:17). We are to live our life on earth from the heavenly dimension. Our prayer is, “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”
