Now that I have finally recovered from my "food coma" I can compose my email!

Upcoming Opportunities:

OB Christmas Parade Prep Party:  Friday, Dec 6th from 6-8pm - We will be attaching invites to our Christmas Eve Services to 400 Mardi Gras Bead Necklaces.  These invite necklaces will be passed out the following day at the OB Christmas Parade.  This is a great opportunity to spread the love of Jesus to our communities.  If you don't have a chance to grab some food before heading to the Prep Party, no worries....I will have pizza, soda and water available.  If you are interested in helping out you can sign up online at:  http://newbreak.org/events/ocean-beach-parade-prep-party or at one of our Coastal services (5pm in OB or 9 & 10:45 in PB) at the Guest Services area. 

OB Christmas Parade:  Saturday, Dec 7th - Due to the parade there will NOT be a service, in lieu of this we will be "outreaching" to our community.  There are several opportunities to get involved, set up - 3:30 - 5pm, hand out hot drinks - 5:00 - 6:30, hand out hot drinks, 4:30 - 6pm - pass out necklaces at the parade, 7 - 8 Hand out hot drinks, 8 - 8:30pm - Clean Up.  You can sign up online at:  http://newbreak.org/events/ocean-beach-christmas-parade1 or at one of our Coastal Services at the Guest Services Area. 

OB Homeless Breakfast:  Saturday, Dec 7th from 8 - 10 am - We will be cooking, setting up, serving breakfast, distributing clothes and then cleaning up at the end.  If you are interested in helping out you can sign up online at:  http://newbreak.org/events/ocean-beach-homeless-breakfast-outreach2 or at one of our coastal campuses at the Guest Services Tables. 

Blood Drive:  Saturday, Dec 14th from 10am - 3pm at the OB Campus.  If you are able to donate blood please consider being a part of this drive, the blood banks are always in need of blood especially during the holiday season.  You can sign up at one of our Coastal Campuses at the Guest Services area or by going online to: http://www.sandiegobloodbank.org/donating-blood, once you sign on look for the Newbreak drive.
