Do you believe in miracles? I certainly do! The one constant truth over the last 10 years of my life is the fact that I can trust God to always come through. I have seen God move in so many areas in my own life and in the life of so many people that I know. We serve a God that does so many unbelievable things.
God is a God that did so many miracles that we read about in the Bible (Old & New Testament). He is also a God that does so many miracles even today. Whatever we are dealing with, we can trust God to move and work in that area. Think about every struggle that you have faced in your past and how God literally did miracles to bring you through those struggles.
If we are dealing with sickness, hardship, persecution, struggle or anything else, God is a God that can step in and perform a miracle. When we read the Scriptures, we see Jesus do miracles in lepers, in blindness, in bleeding and so much more. The same Jesus of the Bible is present in your life even today.
What area of your life concerns you the most as you read this piece? What is the single greatest area of need in your life? I want to challenge you to trust God to move in this area of your life. Psalm 20:7 says, “Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.” We don’t trust in the things of this world, we trust in the creator of this world.
I want to challenge you also to remember that trusting does not mean the absence of trouble in our life. However, trusting does mean that we know that God will see us through the trouble.
Invite God to do a miracle in your life even today! Live your life trusting God to do mighty things.
I hope you have a great week!
In Christ,
Pastor Kevin
For all of you Gateway election voters out there we had a faux pas on the sample ballot you received last Sunday. Steve Swartz was left off the ballot for Church Board and District assembly. So, keep that in mind when you get to the polls next Sunday.
Steve endorses this message…I think.
