Nothing says summer like a beach. Have you ever noticed how quickly the beach landscape changes? After an afternoon of building castles and digging holes, a low tide reveals a wide prairie of sand speckled with footprints, creations and demolitions. Darkness falls, and a heavy nighttime rainstorm wipes the slate clean. A new jagged line of crushed shells outlines the water, and the high tide cuts the beach area in half. Literally overnight, the landscape is transformed into something completely new. Many of us can pinpoint summer experiences that forever changed the landscape of our lives. We invited some of our Annesley writers to submit their stories of life change connected to summer experiences, and over the next few weeks, we hope to share these stories here on the forum. In the meantime, find some sand for your toes and a quiet place to reflect on the experiences, places, or people God has used to change your landscape forever.-------
