IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN VOLUNTEERING, PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS EMAIL. We would like to provide volunteer names to the VA by the end of this weekend.
Description:
UPLIFT's new program, The Home Team, needs 5 half-day Survey Interviewers to work with outreach pros from VVSD at the annual Stand Down event. Stand Down is hosted by VVSD & the VA, offering one-stop shopping for veterans services. Many of the attendees are homeless, but not all.
These volunteer spots are being made available to us through the 25 Cities Initiative 100-Day Campaign. We are hopeful that, through these efforts, we can identify more of the most vulnerable vets on the street for rapid housing.
