Kurt A. Stecker, 60, a clergy member of the Great Plains Annual Conference passed away Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015. He was born Nov 1, 1954.
A celebration of life will take place Monday, Feb. 16, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 5410 Corby Street, Omaha, NE. Visitation with the family will begin Sunday at 3 p.m., with a time for sharing at 5 p.m., all at the 72nd Street Chapel. Kurt's desire is for everyone in attendance to dress in a bright and cheerful manner.
Kurt is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Debbie; children, Lucas (Kathryn) Stecker of New Hampshire, and Rachel (Josh) Couch of Omaha; grandchildren, Natalie, Kaden and Lincoln; siblings, Chuck (Billie) Stecker, Kitty (John) Tudor, Karl (Jane) Stecker, Sandee (Ken) Story; sister-in-law, Judy Miller; his incredible Field Club neighborhood family, as well as the parishioners of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Omaha and the First United Methodist Church in Plattsmouth.
